Speaking at the induction ceremony, Mike said, “I started working at the age of 14 as a mail boy for an insurance company. I worked about 40-50 hours per week for 90 cents an hour. I’ve come a long way since then. My daughter and my independent agency were both born in 1984 and today we have 7 locations serving the entire southeastern United States. Getting into the Nationwide Hall of Fame was a goal I had from the early part of my career.
